Acceptable Use Policy

What Opsync may and may not be used for, and how we enforce it.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs how you may use the Opsync platform. Using Opsync constitutes your acceptance of this policy. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

2. Permitted Use

Opsync is licensed for legitimate business operations including: creating invoices and financial documents for your own business; managing your clients, suppliers, and products; submitting e-Invoices via the IRAS InvoiceNow / Peppol workflow (Singapore) or LHDN MyInvois (Malaysia); generating financial reports; and collaborating with authorised team members within your registered organisation.

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not: (a) use Opsync for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law in your jurisdiction; (b) create fraudulent, false, or misleading invoices or financial documents; (c) impersonate any person, business, or government entity; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Opsync system, database, or another customer's data; (e) introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code; (f) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, overload, or stress-test the platform; (g) resell or sublicense access to Opsync without written authorisation; (h) send unsolicited commercial communications; or (i) process personal data of minors under 13.

4. Content & Data Standards

All data submitted must comply with applicable law in your jurisdiction — including Singapore's PDPA 2012 and Computer Misuse Act, or Malaysia's PDPA 2010 and Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. For users outside Singapore and Malaysia, all data submitted must comply with the data protection and computer-misuse laws applicable in your own country. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of business data entered into the platform.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations. Confirmed breaches may result in a warning, temporary suspension, permanent termination, withholding of refunds, and/or referral to relevant authorities where required by law.

6. Reporting Violations

Report suspected misuse or AUP violations to hello@opsync.digital with subject 'AUP Report'. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
